Mount Stuart Weddings Coronavirus Statement

Statement Released 7th January 2021

As of Tuesday 5^th January, mainland Scotland, which includes the Isle of Bute is now in Level 4 restrictions implemented by the Scottish Government, gov.scot/stayathome.

 The events team have returned to work but will be working from home. Under the new restrictions the following guidelines apply;

• Wedding ceremonies are permitted to take place with a limit of 5 people, the couple, witnesses, and celebrant. Wedding receptions are not permitted, please get in touch with the team to discuss your requirements.
• Appointments to view Mount Stuart House for a wedding or event cannot take place during this time. However, we would be delighted to arrange an online viewing for interested parties.

Statement Released 12th November 2020

As restrictions are currently under review on a weekly basis, Mount Stuart remains open. However, to keep clients and colleagues safe, we are following Government guidelines in order to operate safely.

As of Monday 2^nd November, we fall within level 2 of restrictions as outlined by the Scottish Government, gov.scot/level-2. As such, we must implement the following;

• Weddings can take place with a limit of 20 people. Please contact the team if you would like to discuss your requirements.
• Appointments to view Mount Stuart for a wedding, private celebration or corporate event can only be held during this time for residents within tier 2 areas.

As we move through the five tier system, we shall update this notification accordingly.
